Mazandaran University of Science & Technology (MUST) was established in 1992 in Babol, Iran, as the first non-governmental university under the accreditation of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. This University is the only non-government high educational center that has the name of university, for the outstanding activities took place in the university (others have the name 'high educational center'). MUST has about 2000 students in the fields below:

• Industrial Engineering (PHD, MSc, BSc)
• Information Technology Engineering (MSc, BSc)
• MBA (MSc)
• Socio-Economic Systems Engineering (MSc)
• Civil engineering- Structure (MSc)
• Software Engineering (BSc)
• Hardware Engineering (BSc)

It’s important to note that MUST is now cooperating with one of the best universities of India, IIT, in holding MBA and PHD of Industrial Engineering.
